Semaglutide

Semaglutide belongs to a class of medications known as glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists, or GLP-1 RAs. It mimics the GLP-1 hormone, released in the gut in response to eating. Semaglutide works on the GLP-1 receptor to stimulate the feeling of being adequately satisfied or "full". Another role of GLP-1 is to prompt the body to produce more insulin, which reduces blood sugar (glucose).

Weekly semaglutide injections, paired with a healthy, reduced-calorie diet and regular exercise routine have been shown to dramatically improve overall weight loss.

Consultation with Stacy Rivara, FNP-BC, is required prior to beginning this medication.

Neurotoxins

Botox……………..$12/unit

Botox is a neurotoxin that prevents a muscle from moving for a limited time. The most common use of Botox injections is to relax the facial muscle that cause frown lines and other facial wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes. 

Jeuveau…………..$12/unit

Jeuveau is another brand of neurotoxin.  The most common use of Jeuveau injections is to relax the facial muscle that cause frown lines and other facial wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes. 

Lip Flip……………$100

Lip flip uses neurotoxin, such as Botox or Jeuveau, to relax a muscle in the upper lip causing the lip to "flip" and giving the appearance of a fuller upper lip.  This procedure is different than getting lip fillers, which are injections directly into the lip, as opposed to above it.
